I am Mrs. Annette Albrecht.
I have been working for the School District of Superior for 19 years. I taught for nine years at Cooper Elementary. I taught fourth grade for my first two years, and then I moved to first grade. I spent 2 great years working in the multiage class, and then returned to first grade for two more years while I was the building Technology Integration Coach. I then moved to Great Lakes and taught second grade for two years. Now I am the Librarian at Four Corners and Lake Superior.
My family is very important to me. My husband works at the New Page paper mill in Duluth. He is in charge of the people who take care of the building and the machinery. I have a son who is working as a civil engineer for a local company. He lives in his own house in Superior, but he travels a lot for his job. I have a daughter who is a civil engineer, just like her brother. She works for a company in Stevens Point, WI. They will help design new roads, bridges, and buildings.
Everyone in our family loves soccer, and we all either play, coach, or help with the games in Superior and Duluth. When the high school girls play home games, I get to be the announcer for them! I help other high school students, too.
I also love golfing, reading, riding on the back of our motorcycle, and helping other people. I have a busy life!
